Associate Attorney 

Women-owned, women-led Domestic Relations law firm and dispute resolution business in downtown  Columbus is seeking a full-time associate attorney with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience and at  least a small book of business to join our team. We are a growing practice that embraces diversity and  are proud to stand out from other, more conventional firms. You will be expected to work collaboratively on other attorneys’ cases while handling assigned cases  independently from start to finish. Must be able and willing to travel to court hearings around the State  of Ohio. Court experience is required, and an openness to learn about, and become trained in, various  areas of dispute resolution is a plus.  

The ideal candidate will embrace our approach of taking special care to understand each client’s unique  circumstances and consistently produce favorable results – whether at the negotiation table or at  trial. Must be willing to advocate for clients’ best interests while taking  the complication out of their conflict. 

Successful Candidate Qualifications & Characteristics: 

  • J.D., preferably from ABA-accredited law school 

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio 

  • 3+ years’ practice in Family Law, must include court experience 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 

  • Empathetic team player 

  • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys 

  • Responsible, self-initiating with proven ability to work independently  

  • Efficient time-management skills 

  • Works well with clients and can juggle multiple cases 

  • Familiarity with Mac operating systems and programs is a plus
